Where did this trend start?
The bare-your-britches fashion is believed to have started in prisons, where inmates aren't given belts with their baggy uniform pants to prevent hangings and beatings. By the late 80s, the trend had made it to gangster rap videos, then went on to skateboarders in the suburbs and high school hallways.

Why has it caught on with the African-American youth?
"For young people, it's a form of rebellion and identity," Adrian "Easy A.D." Harris, 43, a founding member of the Bronx's legendary rap group Cold Crush Brothers. "The young people think it's fashionable. They don't think it's negative."

But for those who want to stop them see it as an indecent, sloppy trend that is a bad influence on children.

"It has the potential to catch on with elementary school kids, and we want to stop it before it gets there," said C.T. Martin, an Atlanta councilman. "Teachers have raised questions about what a distraction it is."

What has been done to put an end to such an unnattractive Fashion Trend?
In Atlanta, a law has been introduced to ban sagging and punishment could include small fines or community work -- but no jail time, Martin said.

The penalty is stiffer in Delcambre, Louisiana, where in June the town council passed an ordinance that carries a fine of up to $500 or six months in jail for exposing underwear in public. Several other municipalities and parish governments in Louisiana have enacted similar laws in recent months.

I believe drastic measures are what's needed in some areas it's very unappealing.At Trenton hip-hop clothing store Razor Sharp Clothing Shop 4 Ballers, shopper Mark Wise, 30, said his jeans sag for practical reasons.
Mr Wise, at your age do you feel that you are setting a positive example with your pants sagging?
"The reason I don't wear tight pants is because it's easier to get money out of my pocket this way," Wise said. "It's just more comfortable."

Shop owner Mack Murray said Trenton's proposed ordinance unfairly targets blacks.

"In Atlanta, we see this as racial profiling," said Benetta Standly, statewide organizer for the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia. "It's going to target African-American male youths. There's a fear with people associating the way you dress with crimes being committed."

I think it is time that we help African-American male youths by letting them know it's OK to pull your pants up. Let's be real people!!!! If you don't want to be mistaken as a criminal don't dress like one! Damn.

Calvin Klein's designer Francisco Costa has lightened up for spring.

Fall was primarily focused on a dark palette of charcoal grays and blacks with heavy coats and loose silhouettes. Not anymore. The show started with a string of sporty ethereal, stark white looks – form-fitting shift dresses, easy suit combinations and turtlenecks. Then nude shades (show notes call it "doeskin") started to appear along with cool pastels of blue and green in the form of dripping satin organza and halter dresses.

While there was nothing earth-shattering or new, we're sure that the Calvin-cool customer will certainly approve.

As the strains of Massive Attack's ethereal "Teardrop" started booming overhead, we remembered it was the same exact song that was used in Calvin Klein's show way back in spring 1999. Even the clean, white and beige looks from the collection felt oddly familiar. Simply put, these clothes are so modern, they're timeless.

What's the first step?

Do Research
“I hire a researcher to find me property, but you can look on the Internet or go to auctions. Then have an appraiser inspect the house. Hopefully you can find somebody who’s about to be in foreclosure and be like, ‘Can you sell me your house rather than having these people just take everything from you?’”

Then what?
Do More Research
“With auctions, research the list that they publish in advance. Once I said, ‘Fuck it,’ and spent $7,000 for a house without seeing it. Turns out, there wasn’t even a house on the land! Also, run comps (comparable sales) on the Internet — a house is worth what the last house that was sold nearby it is worth.”

Sounds easy enough,now I've done the research, bought a house....What next?

Fix Things Up
“After buying the house, redo the restroom, the kitchen, the wood floors — simple shit that makes the house look better. If it’s worth $100,000 and you bought it for $60,000, spend no more than $20,000. Hire a manager; he’ll oversee a crew.In Texas there are Mexicans on the corner who are ready to work.”

Close the Sale“To sell the house, you can get a realtor or, preferably, just put a FOR SALE BY OWNER sign on your front lawn to avoid fees. When you’ve got a buyer, run a credit check on him. Then, as long as the bank can make the loan go through, it’s good. When you have the money, then you go and flip another one!”

Wow, that’s some pretty decent advice. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Slim Thug hosting one of those real estate shows, that would be be pretty interesting. Or VH1 for that matter, especially since that former VH1 executive recently stated their viewers preferred to see blacks in a “ghetto role”.

I read that if you're famished, eat a little fat before you sit down for a meal. Did I say fat?

Yes, but I'm talking about the good kind. Eating some healthy fat 20 minutes before a meal can keep you from stuffing yourself. It fools your brain into thinking you're not as hungry as you thought. And your waist will reap the rewards. How does healthy fat do it?
About 70 calories of healthy fat just before you eat -- that's 6 walnuts, 12 almonds, or 20 peanuts -- can trick you into thinking you're full. Eating good fats stimulates the production of cholecystokinin (CCK), a hormone that tells your brain you've had enough to eat and then keeps you feeling full by slowing the emptying of your stomach. (Bread dipped in this oil will also do it.) So when you sit down for a meal, you'll eat for pleasure, not for hunger, and you'll be likely to eat less. Eating too much saturated fat may actually make you hungrier.
Because the average person is finished eating long before his or her brain gets the fullness signal, you should eat slowly. Quickly downing your food won't give your satiety hormones time to kick in.
Another way to a trimmer waist? Don't skip this meal.
