An interview with Uche the creator of Beauty by Uche:
SSS:I feel that everyone likes a fresh start. I like to wake up with clean glowing skin.
BBU: You absolutely must take off all your makeup. It bothers me to see women using baby wipes to remove their makeup.They simply don't get the job done, and when I tell women this they often reply, "But baby skin is so sensitive.this must bee good for my face." Well a baby's butt isn't covered in makeup that requires special ingredients for proper removal.
SSS:What should I use?
BBU: The first step of taking off your makeup should be gentle and should never leave your skin dehydrated or irritated. I like to to use cleansing oil, which won't dry out your face. Use your fingers and lightly massage a small amount all over your face, across your lids,eyebrows,and lips. This will soften your skin and loosen the makeup so you don't have to use too much pressure.
You also need to use a flat square cotton pad-I like them better than balls, which can be rough-and pour a little cleansing oil on it. Go over the same spots again,be careful not to scrub back and forth. Just skim the surface in one direction to pull up the color.
BBU: Once the make up is gone I wash my skin with a mild forming or gel cleanser to remove dirt and oil. I rinse with warm water using a soft,damp white washcloth to gently exfoliate the skin and ensure my pores are thoroughly clean. I finish with a moisturizer.
